The bodies of 10 victims of the crash of a passenger plane of Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) in Kazakhstan have been identified. About it on Thursday, December 26, reports the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic.

"At the moment 10 bodies have been identified. Azerbaijan - four, Russia - three, Kazakhstan - three," - transmits the words of the Department "RIA Novosti".

It is specified that 14 citizens of Azerbaijan injured in the disaster will soon be sent to Baku. Four more citizens of the republic will continue their treatment in Kazakhstan, as their condition does not allow transportation.

A passenger plane of AZAL Airlines, headed on the route Baku - Grozny, crashed near the Kazakh city of Aktau on December 25. After the crash, the plane caught fire. Preliminary, the cause of the fall of the airplane could be a collision with a flock of birds. After the crash, a criminal case was initiated.

According to the list of AZAL, there were 62 passengers and five crew members on board. The Russians who survived the crash were taken to Zhukovsky airport near Moscow by a special Il-76 aircraft of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. AZAL suspended flights from Baku to Grozny and Makhachkala until the investigation is completed.
