Rudenya named the main trends in demographic policy of the Tver Oblast in 2024

The number of large families in the Tver Region has increased several times in the past year - up to 16 thousand, said Governor Igor Rudenya at the final press conference. His words are quoted by the press service of the regional government.

"We realize our slogan "Big family - Tver tradition", - he said, adding that it is large families that will allow the region to reach a new level of development. "And it is very important that our residents have the desire to create large families," Rudenya emphasized.

In this regard, the governor spoke about a number of new decisions in the field of demography. In particular, the nominal value of the certificate for providing large families with motor vehicles was increased from 1 to 1.5 million rubles, and the list of cars for purchase was also expanded. As a result, 120 families became owners of cars.

Also in the region began to issue maternity capital at the birth of the fourth child. In addition, the age limits for families with children to receive support when buying housing in a mortgage were removed.

Rudenya said that during the Year of the Family in the region more than 120 different events were held, including those devoted to solving demographic problems and aimed at popularization of large families and responsible parenthood. The governor said that the issue of rewarding spouses who have been married for many years and demonstrate an example of strong families is being worked out.
