The Governor of Tver Region summarized the results of the year in the region

On December 25, the head of the Tver region Igor Rudenya held a press conference on the results of 2024. He answered journalists' questions about social programs, housing and utilities, road maintenance, support for the participants of the NWO and other, the press service of the regional government reported.

The communication began with summarizing the results of the Year of the Family in Verkhnevolzhye. The Governor spoke about the expansion of the regional demographic package and activities aimed at popularizing large families.

He also emphasized the importance of support measures for manufacturers and investors in the Tver Region. "We strive to create conditions for high-tech import substitution and continue to support enterprises in various ways: from subsidies to issuing loans," the head of the region explained.

Support for the participants of the special military operation, their families is another important topic of the press conference. Rudenya told about the implementation of a personnel program for the heroes of the special military operation in the Tver region. "We will actively participate in such programs. We already have such examples. When the fighters will return after the victory, the bulk of work on their involvement in the economy will begin," the governor noted.

He named the gasification of the south-west of the Tver Region as the key project for today. In 2025, construction of the Rzhev - Olenino - Nelidovo - Western Dvina gas trunkline will be continued, as well as commissioning of inter-settlement and intra-settlement networks in the territories. The Company will continue pre-gasification of households in the Verkhnevolzhye region with special support conditions for SWO participants, large families and other categories of residents.

Repair of the road network, development of health care institutions, urban spaces are the areas that are being implemented in the region under the presidential national projects, Rudenya added. He summarized the results: over the past six years, more than 30 socially important facilities, including new schools, have been built and opened in the region. They have been commissioned, among other things, thanks to the sectoral national projects.
