MAER Media Holding increased its coverage by 50% in just one year

A four-fold increase in the rate of ad inventory insertion in 2024 has allowed MAER Media Holding to increase its total audience reach across the country to 31 million.
"There is such an expression - to 'catch the wave' - to take advantage of the opportunities presented. According to expert estimates, digital formats now account for more than 65% of advertisers' outdoor advertising budgets in Russia. MAER works only with the digital format, and we are catching the wave! This year, the total area of digital screens of our new media has grown by 16 thousand square meters and exceeded 51 thousand square meters. We launched 147 new constructions and more than a quarter of them are media facades, i.e. a large premium format," emphasized Konstantin Major, the owner and CEO of MAER Media Holding.
In 2024, the media holding conducted 11 major transactions. Anapa and Vladivostok, Kemerovo and Orenburg, Kazan and Khabarovsk, Omsk joined the unified federal digital network of MAER. The network of digital screens in St. Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Ufa, Yekaterinburg, Samara, Perm and Voronezh has been significantly expanded.
"In cities with a million inhabitants, the installation of several constructions makes it possible to cover almost all adult residents. For example, the creation of a single digital media space was a gift in the year of Ufa's 450th anniversary. If our client in the capital of Bashkiria takes a split of nine digital screens in the top locations of the city plus our flagship media facade on Zorge Street, it allows us to conduct a campaign with maximum efficiency. The monthly reach of our network in the capital of Bashkiria is 800 thousand people a month, which is more than 3 million views daily! And if we launch an advertising campaign, we can say with certainty: absolutely all city residents will know about it!" - said Ratmir Zagirov, MAER Development Director in Ufa.
A similar network has been built in Nizhny Novgorod - six media facades provide coverage of 950 thousand people per month, which is more than 8 million visual contacts every day.
"In 2025, over 2 thousand representatives of Russian and foreign youth will gather to discuss joint projects in Nizhny Novgorod, and the International Youth Forum will be held here. Our media holding will act as a communication partner of this event, we will be able to promptly inform guests and residents of the city. Media facades will turn into a digital navigator of the forum. We already have a successful experience of such work - in Sochi at the World Youth Festival", - Konstantin Major added.
Since the beginning of the year, the media holding has opened 10 rooftop advertising structures, including on the Garden Ring in Moscow. High-tech equipment was installed on the roof of a building on Sadovaya-Chernogryazskaya Street. Large bright LED letters are placed on the roof of a 10-story building. They are perfectly visible at any time of day and can be read from a distance of several kilometers. The dimensions of the volumetric inscription are 14.4x3.4 meters.
"We launched a new project: we installed our own roof structure on the Garden Ring for our client - Rutube company. This is a technically complex solution that required serious calculations and preparation. But MAER specialists fulfilled the task within the established deadline. We have five more roof structures under management in Moscow: on Leningradskoye Shosse, Leningradskiy Prospekt and Prospekt Mira, on Zemlyaniy Val and Bolshaya Dorogomilovskaya. There are roof structures in Tyumen, Sochi and Voronezh. This is a modern, in-demand format, and we intend to develop this direction in cooperation with Russian business representatives and domestic brands," said Konstantin Major.
The media holding is also actively developing in Moscow and the Moscow region. In 2024, a network of digital screens was launched on the Rublevo-Uspenskoye highway, near Sheremetyevo airport, and on the Novorizhskoye direction. Media facades appeared at the Khimki and Rumyantsevo business centers, CSKA Arena, KukhniPark and June shopping centers, the Kievsky shopping and hotel complex, and the Rossiya National Center in the Moscow City area.
On the eve of the new year 2025, new media facades and digital screens MAER opened in Khabarovsk, Omsk, Krasnodar and Krasnoyarsk, as well as in the top locations of Moscow.
"To realize our large-scale projects, we are constantly expanding the list of locations and including new cities in the unified digital network of our street media. Just the day before we launched a 300 square meter media facade in the center of Omsk and a corner media facade in Khabarovsk. Muscovites can see information directly from Kutuzovsky Prospekt, while guests and residents of the capital received an additional source of information at Kievsky Station Square - these four new locations alone generate over 170 million views per month, while the coverage of the entire media holding network has grown by more than 50% and reached 7.7 billion visual contacts. Compared to 2023, the growth in the number of new locations and areas has accelerated four times!" - noted Konstantin Major, owner and CEO of MAER Media Holding.
In 2025, the media holding intends to continue to actively explore regions and increase the volume of advertising inventory. However, the specialists of the media holding intend to increase its coverage by times with the help of launching a unified digital platform.
"MAER unites technologies: The unified digital communications platform will allow to build cross-channel campaigns and find the target audience in the media space as quickly as possible. The system, unique for Russia, will be based on algorithms and personalized solutions developed by our media holding. And by 2029 we plan to increase the audience coverage from 30 million to 100 million people per month", - added Konstantin Major.
The Unified Digital Communications Platform will be based on 29 patented technological solutions for managing advertising campaigns. The platform will be presented in early 2025. According to the CEO of the media holding, it will allow to place content and effectively manage it in the maximum number of digital channels.
