Alcohol sales will be restricted in Irkutsk Oblast cities

During the New Year vacations in seven municipalities of the Irkutsk region will introduce restrictions on the sale of alcohol. This is reported by IA IrkutskMedia with reference to the regional government.

We are talking about places of cultural, entertainment, sports and other mass events. The restriction also applies within a radius of 100 meters from their holding. The retail sale of alcohol in stores is prohibited, while the sale of alcohol is allowed in the provision of public catering services.

Restrictions will be in effect in Irkutsk, Balagansk, Nizhneilimsk, Osinsk, Ust-Kut, Ust-Ilimsk districts and Angarsk urban district.

In addition, from December 28 to January 9, the Irkutsk region will be on high alert and special firefighting regime.
