Rudenya spoke about the implementation of the "Time of Heroes" program in the Tver Region

At a press conference on the results of 2024, Governor Igor Rudenya spoke about the participation of residents of the Upper Volga region - veterans of combat operations, in the federal personnel program "Time of Heroes", which is implemented in accordance with the order of the President of the Russian Federation. This was reported by the press service of the government of the region.

"The President today is carrying out a great historical mission to strengthen our state, the historical borders of our great country. Today it is very important to support our fighters. Having gone through such a school, the school of fighting, they come back, of course, as other people - more responsible, more fundamental. These are people who are capable of defending the interests of the collective, the territories, the country. We have such examples. When the guys who continue to serve now return, that is when the bulk of work will begin to bring these large-scale thinking and responsible people into the economy, who put the public before the personal. This quality will change the structure and philosophy of the national economy," Igor Rudenya said.

Four veterans of the special military operation from the Tver region have already been trained within the first set of the federal educational program "Time of Heroes". They are Nikolai Kochkov from Kalyazin, who after passing the program was appointed director of the local Vodokanal, Sergei Sergeev, deputy director for educational work at Kalashnikov College, Vladislav Orlov, foreign language teacher at Vyshnevolotsk School No. 6, and Andrei Loktionov, assembly engineer at an individual entrepreneur.

12 participants of the special military operation are employed in schools, mainly as teachers of the new subject "Basics of Security and Defense of the Homeland". Also, veterans of the SVO work in military commissions, at the selection point for military service under contract.

Currently, from November 15, 2024 to January 15, 2025, the second intake of the federal program "Time of Heroes" is taking place.
