The head of Buryatia's Agriculture Ministry was detained on suspicion of abuse of power

Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Buryatia Galsan Dareev was detained on suspicion of abuse of power. This was reported by a source of Izvestiya on December 26.

According to the interlocutor, searches are now being conducted at his place of residence and work. Presumably, a measure of restraint may be chosen for Dareev on December 27.

In the government of the region "Izvestia" confirmed the fact of the minister's detention and investigative actions. The Ministry of Agriculture of the republic refused to comment on the information.

Earlier, on December 13, the head of the regional Ministry of Health Valery Yanin was detained in Vladimir region, he was charged with embezzlement (part 3 of article 160 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) and abuse of power (paragraph "f" of part 3 of article 286 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). Investigators also conducted searches at his place of work.
