Nine Russians taken to Russian medical centers after the crash in Aktau

The Center for Emergency Medical Care (CEMC) delivered nine Russians, who were injured in the crash of the Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) plane in Kazakhstan, to Moscow and federal medical institutions. This was reported on December 26 in the press service of the Department of Health of the Russian Federation.

"The center of emergency medical aid and teams of the Moscow ambulance delivered the victims of the plane crash in Kazakhstan to Moscow and federal medical institutions," - noted in the Telegram-channel of the department.

It is noted that two victims were urgently taken to the Sklifosovsky Institute, where doctors began to provide all the necessary assistance. It is also reported that the condition of one person is assessed as serious.

A passenger plane of AZAL Airlines, heading on the route Baku - Grozny, crashed near the Kazakh city of Aktau on December 25. After the crash, the plane caught fire. Preliminary, the cause of the fall of the airplane could be a collision with a flock of birds. After the crash, a criminal case was initiated.

On board, according to the list of AZAL, there were 62 passengers and five crew members. According to the latest data, seven Russians were killed, nine survived and hospitalized. Kazakhstan's Deputy Prime Minister Kanat Bozumbayev came to the victims of the plane crash. AZAL suspended flights from Baku to Grozny and Makhachkala until the investigation is completed.
