In Moscow a new bridge across the Moskva River has been opened in Myasishcheva Street, passing between Filevskaya and Mnevnikovskaya floodplains. This was announced by the mayor of the capital Sergey Sobyanin in Telegram-channel on December 26.

"Now it is even easier to get to the districts of Filevsky Park and Khoroshevo-Mnevniki, where about 300 thousand people live and the future National Space Center will be located," - said Sobyanin.

He also added that the bridge was built ahead of schedule by four months, the construction work was carried out without suspension of river transportation. The new bridge is 231 meters long and has two lanes, which connect Myasishcheva Street with the projected passage №1166 in the Mnevnikovskaya floodplain.

The main elements of the structure are painted in scarlet color, with additional illumination for night time.

Earlier, on December 25, Moscow overhauled Kostomarovsky Bridge. Specialists during the repair replaced expansion joints, waterproofing and asphalt concrete coating. The sidewalks, supporting structures and stairways were also repaired.
