Two new defendants appeared in the case of car bombing of ex-SBU officer Prozorov

Two new defendants have appeared in the criminal case over the car bombing in Moscow of former Ukrainian Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) officer Vasyl Prozorov. This was reported in law enforcement agencies on December 26.
"The investigation has established two new persons allegedly involved in this crime. This is a citizen of Ukraine Zhuravlev Rostislav Vladimirovich, he was arrested," - quotes the agency TASS.
Another defendant in the car bombing case is Maxim Chuprun, who is wanted.
A Toyota Land Cruiser SUV exploded on April 12 in a parking lot outside a house in Moscow's Zapadnoe Degunino district. Prozorov was in the car, he injured his leg and was hospitalized. The capital's Investigative Committee (IC) of the Russian Federation opened a criminal case over the bombing.
On April 16, Russian law enforcers detained the man who blew up Prozorov's car - Vladimir Golovchenko. According to law enforcers, the man went to Ukraine after the special operation and was recruited by an SBU officer in October last year. He acted under the direct orders of the head of the department Vasiliy Malyuk (included in the list of terrorists and extremists of Rosfinmonitoring).
The next day, the FSB detained the second defendant in the case - the courier who delivered the bomb components to Moscow. He turned out to be a 30-year-old citizen of the Russian Federation and Moldova. Both defendants were arrested on April 18 and 19, respectively.
On December 24, the case of Prozorov's car bombing was reclassified as a terrorist act, adds "Gazeta.Ru".
