GAC announced two new models for Russia


GAC Motor Company plans to bring two new models to Russia in 2025. In the first half of the year, the model range of the brand is planned to expand due to business sedan Empow and crossover GS4. This was reported in the press service of the brand, reports the agency "Autostat" on December 26.
This summer, representatives of GAC told "Izvestia" that the debut of the crossover GS4 Max was planned either by the end of 2024 or early next year.
GS4 Max was presented in China in the spring of this year. In terms of dimensions, the crossover is comparable to the Toyota RAV4 and Haval F7, the length of the car is 4685 mm with a wheelbase of 2750 mm. The crossover is equipped with a 1.5-liter turbo engine with an output of 177 hp in conjunction with a 7-speed dual-clutch robot (a similar powertrain in the GAC GS3, which earlier this year began selling in Russia). The drive is front-wheel drive only.
GAC GS3 was officially presented in Russia on June 3, the crossover became the most affordable in the Russian lineup of the brand, its price starts from 2.4 million rubles. Also in the lineup of the brand includes a large crossover GS8 and minivan M8.
The day before it was reported that the company JAC in 2025 plans to start selling in Russia a new version of the pickup truck T9, which will be equipped with a diesel engine and manual transmission.
On December 24, SWM announced that the company plans to expand its model range in Russia, as well as update the crossovers already on the market. Now the certification of the new SWM G03F crossover is being finalized.
