Russian President Vladimir Putin and Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko had a one-on-one conversation for about 1.5 hours on December 26. This is reported in the Telegram channel "Pool of the first".

"About what [communicated], is not yet known," the publication says.

Informal meeting of the CIS leaders is held on the territory of the resort complex "Igora" in the Leningrad region. The summit of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) will be held there on December 26.

It is specified that today the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council will be held in narrow and wide compositions.

Lukashenko arrived in St. Petersburg on December 25 to participate in an informal summit of CIS leaders and the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council. The same day, Russian President Vladimir Putin arrived there.

Earlier, October 1, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin stressed that the Union State is the locomotive of integration within the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), because Moscow and Minsk are working on EAEU proposals to strengthen the free promotion of goods, services and labor in a joint format.

The EAEU is an international organization of regional economic integration with international legal personality. It includes Russia, Belarus, Armenia, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. One of the main advantages of the organization is a common labor market.
