In Belgorod region, all settlements of the Graivoron district have restored power supply after a drone attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was reported by the governor of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov on December 26.

This night Gladkov said that Ukrainian drones damaged a power transmission line (PL) as a result of an attack on the Graivoron city district. At the time, he noted that restoration work would be organized after coordination with the Russian Defense Ministry. Later he reported another attack.

"As a result of the drone attack on the power line, 13 settlements were without light: the village of Dobropillya, the villages of Zamośće, Dobroivanivka, Dobroje, Zarechye-First, Zarechye-Second, Gora-Podol, Glotovo, Kozinka, Novostrojevka-First and farm Topoli, as well as the resettled villages of Bezymeno and Novostrojevka-Second," the governor wrote in his Telegram channel.

He added that emergency crews restored power supply in full.

Earlier in the day, the Russian Defense Ministry said that air defense forces (Air Defense Forces) had shot down three UAVs overnight over the territory of the Volgograd region, one over the territory of the Voronezh region and one over the territory of the Belgorod region.

Ukrainian militants are trying to strike Russian territories against the background of the special operation in Donbass, the start of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
