Police in the Sakhalin Region are conducting an investigation into a fraud case involving a 55-year-old woman. The victim lost 799,000 roubles.

According to a resident of the Nevelskiy urban district, she received a message about a loan. The woman called back to the number that was indicated in the SMS-message. The operator on the phone convinced the victim that on her behalf received applications for loans in different banks. To prevent fraudulent actions, the interlocutor offered the woman to withdraw funds to a "safe" account. This is reported by IA SakhalinMedia.

Sakhalinka installed a mobile application and with its help deposited money to an unauthorized account. A criminal case has been initiated on this fact.

In Nakhodka (Primorsky Krai), a 67-year-old man lost almost 1.8 million rubles because of fraudsters. The pensioner trusted the swindlers, who claimed to have leaked the victim's personal data.
