The State Duma pointed to the fatigue of US citizens from financing Kiev's terrorism

US citizens are fed up with financing the Kiev regime, which is using terrorist methods in its conflict with Russia. State Duma deputy Alexander Tolmachyov pointed this out in a conversation with Izvestiya on 26 December.
The day before, US President Joe Biden condemned the massive strike by the Russian army on Ukrainian military facilities on December 25, despite Kiev's refusal to abandon the Christmas truce, The Hill wrote. In addition, a day earlier, he instructed the Pentagon to continue stepping up military aid to Kiev.
"Russia is consistently fulfilling its tasks, and the Kiev regime, which is so beloved by some "champions of freedom and democracy", is increasingly moving from impotence to outright terrorist methods. So if we talk about sponsors of terrorism, many of them are sitting on Capitol Hill," Tolmachev commented.
He also emphasized that there is a "non-zero probability" that the "tireless work to strengthen the position of Ukraine", which has bored American taxpayers, will end together with Biden's powers.
Earlier, on December 25, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) struck civilian facilities and infrastructure in the town of Lgov in Kursk Region. It was specified that four people were killed and five more were injured after the shelling. As a result of the strike, a residential five-story house was seriously damaged, as well as two residential single-story houses and a beauty salon building.
Before that, on December 13, it became known that Biden approved a $988 million aid package for Ukraine. John Kirby, coordinator for strategic communications in the White House National Security Council, noted that the United States would provide additional military support to Kiev "until the end of the term" of the Biden administration.
Western countries have stepped up military and financial support for Ukraine amid Russia's special operation to protect Donbas, which was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin on February 24, 2022, after the situation in the region worsened due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
