A man rented a delivery point in the Moscow region and stole goods worth 60 million rubles

A man rented an order delivery point in the Moscow region town of Pushkino and stole goods worth more than 60 million rubles. This was reported by the official representative of the Interior Ministry Irina Volk on December 26.

It is specified that the businesswoman leased the issuance point to the figure. The attacker hired employees and conducted economic activities. Soon the woman noticed that the database shows a lot of underloaded orders, and surveillance cameras do not function.

"The entrepreneur's spouse arrived at the point of delivery of orders and found that the front door was open, there was no one inside, and there was no goods in the storage room. The victim turned to the police. The total damage exceeded 60 million rubles," Volk wrote in her Telegram channel.

The police detained the criminal in Stavropol. According to him, he was looking for an easy way to make money and came across a stranger who offered him this scheme. The defendants placed orders for expensive goods through fictitious accounts, and then transported them to a prearranged premises in Moscow.

A criminal case has been opened on this fact. The man was taken into custody, the investigation continues.

Earlier, on November 29, it became known that the criminals came up with a new scheme to steal expensive goods using marketplaces. The attackers began to hire Russians to arrange for them to the points of delivery of orders (PVZ), made a duplicate of the keys and handed them over. After the "employee" went on shift, the fraudsters ordered expensive goods (for example, several popular smartphones) to the point and then canceled the purchase. The money for the order was returned, and the gadgets were lying at the point of delivery, from where they could be stolen. The fraudsters promised to pay the front men 100,000 roubles for these actions.
