Deputy Mayor Sergunina spoke about Moscow's cooperation with BRICS+ colleagues

Moscow is becoming one of the centers of cooperation among megacities of BRICS+ countries. International events taking place in the Russian capital attract experts, major players and representatives of government agencies of many countries of the world, said Deputy Mayor Natalia Sergunina.
"Specialists from more than 100 countries took part in large-scale industry events in 2024. These are the BRICS forum "Cloud Cities", fashion and tourism forums, Moscow International Film Week, Moscow Interior and Design Week", - said Sergunina.
Moscow is confidently developing and finding new partners, despite the sanctions, emphasized the Vice-Mayor. Sergunina also reminded that for the second year in a row the Russian capital is recognized as a leader among BRICS megacities in terms of technological and spatial development.
In September, Moscow hosted the Cloud Cities forum dedicated to the future of BRICS megacities. Over 13,000 people visited the venue, and the forum was attended by experts and representatives of government agencies from more than 30 countries. The participants of the business program discussed, in particular, digitalization, new technologies, entrepreneurship and export support.
In October, Moscow hosted the BRICS+ Fashion Summit. The event was attended by about 20 thousand people. The key event of the forum was the signing of a declaration on the establishment of the BRICS International Fashion Federation.
In June, the Russian capital hosted the first BRICS Tourism Forum. Following its results, the participants signed 12 cooperation agreements, seven of which were signed between foreign and Moscow companies.
In addition to business events, BRICS+ representatives actively participate in other Moscow events. Among them are the International Creative Industries Week, Moscow Interior and Design Week, International Film Week and other large-scale events.
