During the New Year holidays, Moscow Railways will launch more than 200 suburban trains

More than 200 electric trains will be launched on the Moscow railroad (MZhD) during the New Year holidays. This was reported on December 25 in the Telegram-channel of the main line.

Most of the electric trains will run on four lines of MCD, as well as on the routes between Moscow, Vladimir, Alexandrov, Kaluga, Tula, Ryazan and Muravyevo, reports the agency of city news "Moscow".

On New Year's Eve, MCD and MCC will switch to the festive mode of operation. MCC suburban trains will run until 03:00, and "swallows" - until morning. "Night" interval on the MCC will be eight minutes.

At Christmas on the night of January 7, the mode of operation of the MCC extended to 02:00, and the MCC - to 03:00, writes the site kp.ru.

On December 25, the mayor of the capital Sergey Sobyanin said that travel in ground urban transport, as well as on the subway and MCC will be free from 20:00 on December 31 to 06:00 on January 1. It is specified that 140 most demanded routes of ground urban transport and 18 regular night routes will transport passengers.
