Central Bank of Russia revoked the license of Garant-Invest Bank

The Central Bank of Russia has revoked the license for operations from the Moscow commercial bank Garant-Invest. This is stated on Thursday, December 26, on the website of the regulator.

It is noted that the financial institution ranked 168th in terms of assets. The license was revoked due to the fact that "Garant-Invest" violated federal laws regulating banking activities, as well as regulations of the Bank of Russia.

"During the unscheduled inspection of the Bank of Russia carried out on 25.12.2024 during an unscheduled inspection of the Bank of Russia audit of cash in the vault of values of CB Garant-Invest (JSC) revealed a large shortage", - said the Central Bank.

It is also reported that Garant-Invest had its license to operate on the securities market revoked.

November 15, the Central Bank of Russia revoked the banking license of LLC "Bank BCF". It was specified that the activities of the organization were assessed as inefficient, highly unprofitable over a long period of time, and the assets were of "low quality".
