Students and employees of institutions subordinate to the Department of Sports of Moscow collect humanitarian aid and participate in projects to support participants of the special military operation (SMO) and their families. The composition of the sports school "Rus" in just a week collected and transferred to help the sports school of the Olympic reserve of the Yakovlevsky municipal district of Belgorod region sets of hockey uniforms, helmets and equipment.

Masking nets and evacuation carts were sent to the front by the state budgetary institution of additional education "Moscow Figure Skating Academy".

On the basis of the center of education and sports "Moscow-98" opened a military-patriotic club named in honor of Hero of the Russian Federation Alexei Katerinichev. During his service to the Motherland he was awarded three Orders of Courage, state and departmental awards. For courage and heroism, shown in the performance of duty, Alexei Katerinichev was awarded the title of Hero of Russia posthumously.

Earlier, on December 4, it became known that volunteers of the "People's Front" delivered humanitarian aid to civilians of the liberated town of Selidovo in the Donetsk People's Republic (DNR). The aid included 100 packages, including food packages.
