If necessary, Finland is able to mobilize 280,000 military personnel within a week. This was reported on December 25 by The Independent newspaper with reference to the words of the country's President Alexander Stubb.

"The army of Finland is one of the largest in Europe, including 280 thousand soldiers, which can be mobilized and armed to the teeth in a week," the newspaper quoted Stubba.
