CSKA defeated SKA St. Petersburg in a KHL match

Moscow hockey club CSKA defeated St. Petersburg SKA in the regular season match of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) with a score of 6:5 (5:0, 0:1, 1:4). This is reported by "Sport-Express" on December 25.

The winners scored Pavel Karnaukhov (1st and 15th minutes), Denis Guryanov (1), Vitaly Abramov (9), Maxim Sorkin (15) and Kirill Dolzhenkov (48). SKA's Sergei Sapego (39), Alexander Nikishin (48), Arseny Gritsyuk (50), Ivan Demidov (56) and Sergei Plotnikov (56).

CSKA became the second club in KHL history to score two pucks in the opening minute of a game.

SKA forward Evgeny Kuznetsov left the ice in the second period after a collision with CSKA defenseman Vladislav Provolnev.

CSKA won its ninth straight victory. HC is third in the Western Conference standings with 53 points after 37 games. SKA is in sixth place with 48 points in 38 games.

Earlier in the day, CSKA's Pavel Karnaukhov and Denis Guryanov scored goals in the first 57 seconds of the game against SKA St. Petersburg in Moscow. This is the second time in KHL history that the Moscow team has two puck drops within the first minute of a game.

On the eve of hockey player Stanislav Galiev signed a contract with the club CSKA. It is reported that the contract will be valid until the end of the season-2024/25.

Earlier, on December 23, Kazan hockey club Ak Bars defeated Dynamo Moscow in the regular KHL championship match with a score of 6:5.
