- The media said that three NATO countries have admitted that they are not ready to confront Russia

Finland, Latvia and Estonia have declared their inability to confront Russia without the involvement of the United States. This was reported on December 25 by the British publication Independent.
"The leaders of the three states of the alliance said <...> that NATO is "not ready" to fight against Russia without the United States, calling on allies to sharply increase defense spending," - stated in the publication.
Thus, the material cited the words of Latvian President Edgars Rinkevics, who said about the apparent unpreparedness for the allegedly approaching threat from Russia. Estonian Prime Minister Kristen Mihal, in turn, added that NATO needs to strengthen its defense capabilities.
In particular, the head of Finland Alexander Stubb said that he could not imagine NATO without the United States, adds "Gazeta.Ru".
In addition, the publication says that the victory of Ukraine is important for the three NATO member countries bordering Russia, because "Europe is poorly armed".
Before that, on December 22, Germany urged to stop ignoring the threat from Russia and prepare to confront the alleged threat of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The West regularly stokes hysteria among the citizens of its countries, warning of an allegedly imminent war with Russia. At the same time, Vladimir Putin has repeatedly stated that nothing of the sort is in the country's plans.
