She named three reasons why the glass breaks in winter.

"To defrost, you can not pour hot water on the windshield, you can not direct the maximum blowing on the glass immediately after starting the engine and the more so use a hair dryer. Any methods of thermal influence can provoke the appearance of cracks on the glass", - warned the expert.

Kuznetsova recommended using a special composition "anti-ice" or "defroster" to reduce the appearance of ice outside, and also gave a number of tips useful when icing from the inside. In particular, you should thoroughly shake off your shoes before getting in the car, remove water and snow from the mats after each trip, and avoid throwing a brush of snow into the cabin. All of this will reduce humidity and the chance of condensation, she explained.

The car service manager added that the problem of frosting on the windows from the inside is not only due to temperature and humidity. It can be the result of clogged ventilation ducts or malfunction of the heating system.
