An alleged accomplice in the scheme of embezzlement of money from singer Larisa Dolina was taken into custody. This was reported in the Prosecutor's office of Moscow on December 25.
"Taking into account the position of the Prosecutor's office of the Central administrative district, the court remanded in custody a man accused of fraud," - indicated in the agency.
Earlier in the day, the Main Directorate (GU) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Moscow reported the detention in Togliatti of another alleged accomplice in the scheme of embezzlement of funds from Dolina.
On August 13, Dolina stated that she had fallen victim to fraudsters. Attackers persuaded her to sell an apartment in the center of Moscow, and transfer the money to a supposedly safe account. A criminal case has been opened, the real estate has been seized.
Angela Tsyrulnikova, 53, through whom Dolina transferred part of the funds to the fraudsters, was arrested at the same time. The second defendant - 43-year-old Dmitry Leontiev - was detained on October 22, and on November 21, the third defendant - 27-year-old previously convicted resident of Tatarstan - was detained.
The new owner of the apartment was 34-year-old single mother Polina Lurie. In late August, Dolina filed a lawsuit against her, and on September 3, Lurie filed a counterclaim. In November, it became known that Lurie wanted to reach an amicable settlement.
