Deputy Mayor of Moscow Sergunina told about the program of New Year vacations at VDNKh

A cultural program for the New Year vacations has been prepared for the visitors of VDNKh within the framework of the project "Winter in Moscow". Guests will be able to watch ice shows on the largest ice rink of the capital, take part in creative classes and excursions, said Deputy Mayor Natalia Sergunina.

"Muscovites and tourists of different ages are waiting for dozens of events. These are Christmas excursions at the Slovo Museum of Slavic Script, performances at the Atom Museum, master classes, concerts at the New Year's fair and much more," Sergunina noted.

From December 27 to January 8, a New Year's fair will open on the territory of VDNKh - it will unfold behind the museum of Slavic writing "Slovo". Here you will be offered to buy gifts and home decorations: Christmas tree toys, handmade candles, porcelain, glass and ceramics. Guests will also taste pancakes, gingerbread and other treats, and make cards and souvenirs at master classes. From December 28 to 30, the New Year Toy Fair festival with theatrical performances and concerts will be held at the site.

From January 2 to 8, the ice rink will host ice shows "Tales of Evgeny Plushenko" with the participation of the best Russian figure skaters. The performances are based on ballets by composer Pyotr Tchaikovsky - "Sleeping Beauty", "Swan Lake" and "The Nutcracker". On January 6, a night skating session will be organized here: the first 300 visitors will be given lighted skates for rent.

For fans of active recreation on the territory of the complex equipped ski tracks and tubing slide "Siyaniye" with five slopes with a length of 80 meters.

On December 28, January 2, 3 and 4, the performance "The Wonders of Santa Claus" will be shown in Pavilion 11 on the Central Alley. And in the Theater of fairy tales of the family theme park "Orion" will hold an interactive performance "Drakonich and the abduction of the book of fairy tales".

New Year's program prepared and "City Farm" VDNH. There will organize an interactive tour, show domestic cartoons, teach how to make bags and paint gingerbread.
