The Russian Prosecutor General's Office has declared the activities of the American organization Commission on Security and Cooperation in Europe (U.S. Helsinki Commission) undesirable on the territory of the Russian Federation. This is written in a statement on the website of the agency on December 25.
"The activity is aimed at destabilizing the socio-political situation in Russia, members of the organization massively distribute materials discrediting the foreign and domestic policy of the leadership of our country, the work of law enforcement agencies and the judicial system," the statement said.
The prosecutor's office added that on the official resource of the commission there is an appeal to the US President to authorize the transfer of missile systems to Ukraine for strikes against Russia.
Earlier, on November 5, the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation recognized the IAIS games association as an undesirable organization in the Russian Federation. According to the agency, the association is involved in anti-Russian propaganda campaigns initiated abroad, which are aimed at promoting protest and destructive ideas in the Russian Federation.
