Three men received up to nine years for raping a woman in Moscow

Three men, accused of raping a woman in July this year in Moscow, will serve their sentences in a penal colony of correctional regime. This was reported on December 25 in the press service of the capital's prosecutor's office.

"Two defendants are sentenced to nine years of imprisonment, the third - to four years. They will serve their sentence in a penal colony of general regime", - stated in the publication in the Telegram-channel of the Department.

It is established that the men of 22, 24 and 25 years old, being in a state of alcoholic intoxication, in the night time chose a victim. They attacked the woman, throwing her to the ground. Two of the attackers abused the victim, while the third watched the situation. The agency noted that the "observer" admitted that he was also going to rape the victim.

It is noted that the prosecutor asked the court to appoint each of the men 9.5 years of imprisonment in a colony of general regime.

The sentence has not entered into legal force, specified in the message of the agency.

Earlier, on July 8, the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation petitioned for the arrest of three men accused of raping a girl in a park in the north-east of Moscow. Then a number of forensic examinations, including forensic medical, psychological-psychiatric and genetic ones, were appointed in the criminal case (item "a", part 2, article 131 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
