The New Year's table can be made less heavy and caloric, while adding healthy dishes. Fitness trainer DDX Fitness, nutritionist Artem Opalnitsky told Izvestia on December 26 how to reduce the calorie content of familiar salads, and also explained what is better to add to the festive dinner, and what should be refrained from.

So, according to him, you can reduce the calorie content of Olivier by replacing mayonnaise. It contains about 600 kcal per 100 g. There are several options: either prepare the dressing yourself from Greek yogurt, mustard, salt, eggs or trust low-calorie mayonnaise - 15% fat content. There is also an exotic way - to use sour cream. If there will be a desire to make the salad more protein, you can replace the sausage with fried chicken breast, only without oil.

"Next to olivier we will definitely have herring under a fur coat. By the way, the fish itself contains a lot of useful micro and macronutrients: vitamins A, D, B2, B3, B4, B6, a lot of sodium, selenium, iron and phosphorus. In addition to herring, the dish contains beets, which are also a treasure trove of vitamins: B9, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, copper and manganese. However, the coat consists of a large amount of mayonnaise. Here we should act similarly to Olivier," Opalnitsky added.

Speaking about kolodtsets, he specified that the calorie content of the dish varies depending on the type and amount of meat. At the same time, there is a lot of protein. To make it less caloric, you should use less fatty meat - chicken and beef. Also, this appetizer has a lot of B vitamins, iron and various minerals. In addition, in order to make the table more healthy, it is worth adding more fruits and vegetables.

"Salad does not necessarily have to consist of herring, potatoes and sausage with mayonnaise. Give preference to fresh vegetables, Greek or Caesar salad," - said the expert.

In his opinion, you can use grilled vegetables as a garnish. An excellent option will be a casserole of vegetables or moussaka as a main course.

You can also replace meat with fish, specified the nutritionist. Red fish is very easy to prepare and contains many useful substances - omegas, vitamins and proteins. The simplest recipe: marinate the steak in sour cream, sprinkle cheese on top and send it to the oven for 30 minutes. In addition, sweets can be replaced with seasonal fruits - persimmons, bananas, tangerines, kiwi, pomegranate. From them you can make a delicious salad, seasoning it with the same sour cream.

"Ideally, give up alcohol altogether. But if you can not do without it, then it is better to choose a low-calorie version. It is believed that the lowest-calorie alcohol is dry wine or vodka. Although in fact it is beer. Some varieties of beer contain only 33 kcal in 100 g. Dry champagne or wine contains 60 kcal per 100 g. Vodka - per 100 g is already 230 kcal. The most caloric will be liqueurs, for example, "Baileys" contains 327 kcal", - explained nutriciologist.

Earlier, on December 12, it was reported that Russians began to actively buy up New Year's sweets. This follows from the data of trading sites. Such gifts weighing 500-600 g cost this year Russians an average of 791 rubles, follows from the data of the analytical center "Check Index" of the company "Platform OFD". The average check for children's holiday sets of sweets has grown this year by 12-13%.
