Russian military destroyed a Ukrainian UBM in Sumy region with Lancet

Servicemen of the reconnaissance unit of the "North" group of troops have destroyed a Ukrainian armored combat vehicle (ACV) in Sumy Region with a Lancet barrage munition. Images of the combat operation were published on December 25 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

It is specified that the object was identified in a forest belt with the help of an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV).

"After analyzing the received intelligence, a decision was made to fire on the enemy UAV," the ministry said in a statement.

As a result of the actions of the Russian army in Sumy region, the military equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) was eliminated.

On the same day, unmanned aviation units of Stavropol paratroopers with the help of quadrocopters with drops destroyed an AFU tank near the settlement of Verbovoye in the Zaporozhye region. The first quadrocopter dropped an F-1 grenade on the protective grill on the tank's roof, made a hole in it, after which the operator of the second quadrocopter threw an incendiary munition into the open hatch of the tank.

The special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which was announced by Russia on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the backdrop of the worsening situation in the region.
