In Russia, 40% of surveyed citizens told about working on New Year holidays


During the New Year holidays, 40% of the surveyed Russians will work. This is stated in the results of a survey by the services Work.ru, Podrabotka and analysts of the Rambler & Co. media holding. Izvestia has a document with the results of the study.
According to it, more than 110 thousand respondents aged 18 to 45 from all regions of the country took part in the survey. The majority (60%) plan to spend the holidays without work, devoting time to themselves and family. However, a significant part (40%) is determined to work: 26% plan to work, 8% will combine their main employment with additional work, and another 6% will only work part-time. Respondents plan to earn money during the holidays as drivers (13%), which reflects the demand for transportation services in the pre-New Year period. Also in demand are security guards (8%) and couriers (6%), as well as construction and laborers (5%).
Among the less popular options: sellers and cashiers (3%), order pickers in stores (3%) and photographers (3%). Then come animators (Snow Maiden/Ded Moroz), event hosts (2% each) and waiters (1%).
The majority of respondents in part-time work (70%) prefer a flexible schedule that allows them to plan their own time. Shift employment interested 21%, and the shift method - only 9% of respondents.
The experts also found out that the survey participants' plans for their earnings differ: the priority for many (18%) is to replenish their savings. A significant share of funds (15%) will be spent on children's needs, and 14% - on necessary purchases. 6% and 5% of respondents plan to spend their earnings on traveling and entertainment, respectively. Another 5% - to help parents on household expenses, 1% - to pay for sports and fitness, 1% - to pay for courses or additional education.

This is stated in the results of a study of the WFB Research Center. The experts found out how and where residents of the countries where Wildberries marketplace is present celebrate New Year's Eve. Almost all of them want to celebrate New Year's Eve at home or as guests - only 1-2% of respondents said that they would be traveling around the country or abroad during the chimes.
