The First Court of Appeal of General Jurisdiction decided to lift the ban on the screening of the movie about the group "Hands Up!" on the Web and to unblock it. This was reported to "Izvestia" on December 25, representatives of the leader of the collective Sergey Zhukov.

"I'm glad that the appeals court finally doubted that the publishing house "Gem" has the rights to those phonograms of my songs, which they declare their own, and demanded proof, which they do not have and can not be", - said the soloist.

On December 11, the official representative of the First Music Publishing House, IP Codex General Director Natalia Polianchik told Izvestia that Zhukov wrote an appeal to the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation Alexander Bastrykin and the Chairman of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation Irina Podnosova with a request for assistance in the case of copyright protection of the group's songs. The petitioners - the singer and the First Music Publishing House LLC - indicated that they faced arbitrariness on the part of the music publishing house Gem, represented by its director Andrei Cherkasov.

Zhukov also filed three lawsuits in the Arbitration Court of Moscow to recognize the right to his works, performances and phonograms. Cherkasov, on the other hand, asked the court to block Internet resources that host the group's songs.

Zhukov's representatives added that the offices of the music publishing house Gem and the Top 7 Company LLC have undergone operational and search operations that may be related to the case. It is alleged that the matter concerns the drawing up of fictitious documents allegedly confirming the rights to the phonograms of the "Ruki Vverkh!" group.
