JAC to bring new version of best-selling pickup truck to Russia

The company JAC in 2025 plans to start sales in Russia of a new modification of the pickup truck T9, which will be equipped with a diesel engine and manual transmission. This is stated in the message of the Chinese manufacturer, which was received by "Izvestia" on December 25.

Now JAC T9 is sold in Russia with a 2.0-liter gasoline turbo engine with a capacity of 224 hp (390 Nm) with an eight-speed automatic transmission and an all-wheel drive system. The length of the car is 5330 mm with a wheelbase of 3110 mm. The price of the pickup starts from 3.5 million rubles.

According to the company, JAC T9 is the leader of the Russian market in the pickup segment. Another model, T8 Pro, occupies the seventh line of the rating. In addition, in the branded ranking, JAC ranks first in pickup sales and has a market share of 25%

Earlier in the day it was reported that the Russian-built Exeed RX crossover has completed the certification process and received the Vehicle Type Approval (VTA). In the document, the assembly site Exeed RX specified the former Mercedes-Benz plant in the Moscow region.

The day before SWM company announced that it plans to expand the model range in Russia, as well as to update the crossovers already on the market. Now the certification of the new SWM G03F crossover is being finalized.
