Deputy Mayor Liksutov told about a new themed train in Moscow subway

The Arbatsko-Pokrovskaya line of the Moscow Metro started running a thematic train dedicated to the areas of work and projects of the capital's social development complex. This was announced by Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transportation and Industry Maxim Liksutov.

Doctors, college students, veterinarians, social coordinators and employees of civil registry offices took part in the launch of the train. They congratulated Muscovites on the coming holidays and handed New Year souvenirs to passengers.

"This year 26 New Year's trains went out on different metro lines. For the first time we launch a festive themed train together with our partner - Moscow Social Development Complex. The train will run along the Arbatsko-Pokrovskaya line until February 20. We continue to participate in various projects on behalf of Sergey Sobyanin", - Maxim Liksutov noted.

Outside the train was decorated with images of snowmen, snowflakes, presents and Christmas toys, and inside - with wishes for passengers. Thus, the carriage dedicated to education wishes to spend 2025 on five plus, and the carriage dedicated to the Committee of Veterinary Medicine - to get a pet.

This is not the first joint project of Moscow transport and the complex of social development of Moscow. In June 2024 on the Arbatsko-Pokrovskaya metro line ran a train dedicated to the capital's system of secondary vocational education. In addition, "Mayakovskaya" station serves as a night platform for marriage registration. Over the past three years, 71 couples have married at Mayakovskaya.
