A ninth-grader from a Moscow cottage village gave his parents' two safes with Rolex watches, diamonds and 4 million rubles to a fraudster. This is reported on Wednesday, December 25, a source of "Izvestia".
The incident took place in the area of Pervomayskoye settlement. A 16-year-old schoolboy received a call from an unknown person who introduced himself as an employee of Rosfinmonitoring and said that his account on "Gosuslugi" wanted to hack. Later, the teenager was contacted by a person who identified himself as an FSB employee. He asked who the boy's parents worked for and asked how much money they kept at home. Having learned about safes with money and jewelry, the fraudster said that it was impossible to keep more than 50 thousand rubles at home, and persuaded the schoolboy to "declare" the property.
Three days later, the teenager met with a courier and handed him two safes containing Rolex, Breitling and Chanel watches, Tiffany&Co, Bvlgari and Chopard jewelry, diamonds, real estate documents, as well as $15,000 and 4 million rubles.
