Khamovnicheskiy district court of Moscow sentenced a citizen of the Netherlands, Harry Johannes van Voorden, to three years of probation for attacking a police captain near the Italian Embassy in the center of the capital. This became known on December 25.

"Khamovnichesky district court of Moscow decided: to sentence to three years of suspended sentence of a citizen of the Netherlands Harri Johannes van Voorden," - cite the words of the judge TASS.

It is noted that at the time of the attack the man was in a state of alcoholic intoxication.

The incident occurred in October. In Moscow, a citizen of the Netherlands Van Woerden Harry Johannes beat up a policeman. The offender, walking along the roadway knocked down a plastic sign indicating a parking space. The police officer reprimanded him. In response, Johannes hit him in the face with his fist. As noted, law enforcers initiated a case under Part 2 of Article 318 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Use of violence against a representative of authority, dangerous to life and health").
