The Kostomarovsky Bridge was repaired in Moscow

Kostomarovsky bridge has been overhauled in Moscow. This was reported on Wednesday, December 25, by Deputy Mayor of the capital on housing and public utilities and improvement Petr Biryukov.

According to him, the capital pays special attention to the maintenance of bridge structures, all objects undergo regular inspections, following the results of which decisions are made on major or current repairs. In 2024, specialists of the municipal economy complex renewed Kostomarovsky bridge, located in Tagansky district. The structure was built in 1941 in place of an old brick arch bridge. Traffic during the repair was not completely closed, but phased closures of lanes were introduced, writes the site kp.ru. Specialists during the repair replaced expansion joints, waterproofing and asphalt concrete coating. The sidewalks, supporting structures and stairways were also repaired.

On December 20, the installation of equipment for architectural and artistic illumination began on Zhivopisnoye Bridge in the north-west of Moscow. In total, power engineers will install more than 400 LED devices with a capacity of 150 to 200 watts of warm and neutral shades of white color, imitating natural lighting.
