The body of basketball player Janis Timma has been taken to Latvia

The body of the ex-husband of singer Anna Sedokova, basketball player Janis Timma, was delivered to Latvia for funeral. This was reported on December 25 by the sister of the athlete Lelde Jandecka.

"There is a lot of false information in the press. Parents are grateful for the tremendous support and kindness. <...> Janis has already returned to Latvia," she wrote in a story in the social network Instagram (owned by Meta, recognized in Russia as extremist and banned).

Zhandecka specified that the farewell to the basketball player will take place on December 27 at the Riga crematorium at 15:00.

The death of Anna Sedokova's ex-husband Janis Timm became known on December 17. On his phone was a screensaver with the inscription "Call Anna" and her phone number. At the same time the day before, December 16, he in social networks congratulated his ex-wife on her birthday.

Before that, on October 21, it became known that Sedokova officially filed for divorce from Timma. The statement of the singer on the dissolution of the marriage was received on October 16 in the judicial district of the magistrate № 150, belonging to the North-West district of the capital. About the intention to divorce Sedokova told on September 7 in Instagram.

Sedokova and Timma got married in September 2020. For the singer, this marriage was the third, for the athlete - the second. Common children they do not have. Before that Sedokova was married to soccer player Valentin Belkevich and entrepreneur Maxim Chernyavsky, and also met with businessman Artem Komarov. From them she has three children.
