27 people survived a plane crash in Kazakhstan

As a result of the crash of Azerbaijan Airlines airplane of Baku-Grozny flight in Aktau 27 people survived, among them three were children. This was reported by the source of "Izvestiya" on December 25.

On the same day, the Ministry of Transport of Kazakhstan informed that 16 Russian citizens were on board the plane that crashed in Aktau.

Thedowning of the plane in Kazakhstan occurred earlier in the day. Before the crash, the board gave an emergency signal. At the scene are 52 specialists and 11 units of equipment of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kazakhstan, they began to extinguish the fire. In the command center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations formed an operational headquarters.

Thepreliminary cause of the crash was a collision with a flock of birds. The ATOR told Izvestia that there were no organized groups of Russian tourists on board the crashed airliner.
