Sobyanin announced free travel in the subway on New Year's Eve and Christmas Day

In Moscow on New Year's Eve it will be possible to use the subway, MCC and ground urban transportation free of charge. The operating time of the MCC will also be increased for the convenience of Muscovites and guests of the capital. This was announced in his Telegram-channel by the mayor of the capital Sergey Sobyanin.

"On New Year's Eve - from 20:00 to 06:00 - travel on the subway, MCC and ground urban transport will be free. Passengers will be transported by 140 most popular routes of ground urban transport and 18 regular night routes. The work of the MCC will be extended until three o'clock in the morning", - said the mayor.

Also on Christmas subway and MCC will work until 02:00, MCD - until 03:00, and ground public transport - until 03:30.

In addition, from December 30 to January 8, parking on the streets of Moscow will be free (except for parking lots with a barrier).
