On board the crashed airplane in Aktau, tentatively, there were 16 citizens of Russia. This was reported by the Ministry of transport of Kazakhstan on December 25.
"According to preliminary data, on board were 37 gr. Azerbaijan, 6 of Kazakhstan, 3 of Kyrgyzstan, 16 of the Russian Federation," - noted in Telegram-channel.
Thedowning of the plane in Kazakhstan occurred earlier in the day. Before the crash, the board gave an emergency signal. At the scene are 52 specialists and 11 units of equipment of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kazakhstan, they began to extinguish the fire. In the command center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations formed an operational headquarters.
Thepreliminary cause of the crash was a collision with a flock of birds. The ATOR told "Izvestia" that there were no organized groups of Russian tourists on board the crashed liner. The Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan informed Izvestia about hospitalization of 25 people.
