First footage of plane crash in Kazakhstan published


On December 25, the first footage of the crash of Azerbaijan Airlines plane of Baku-Grozny flight in Aktau was published in the Network.
The footage shows the tail part of the plane and injured passengers being rescued by eyewitnesses of the tragedy.
A passenger airplane of Azerbaijan Airlines, heading on the route Baku - Grozny, crashed near the Kazakh city of Aktau earlier in the day. The craft caught fire after the crash. Fifty-two specialists and 11 units of equipment were sent to the crash site. An operational headquarters was formed in the command center of the agency.
According to preliminary data, the cause of the accident could be a collision with a flock of birds. The Ministry of Emergency Situations reported about 25 injured. The Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR) told Izvestia that there were no organized groups of Russian tourists on board the Azerbaijan Airlines plane that crashed in Aktau. Later, the Ministry of Transport of Kazakhstan reported that, according to preliminary information, there were 16 Russians on board.
