- Zakharova spoke about Kiev's threats to the West with confessions in terrorist attacks

By openly recognizing its role in the terrorist acts, Kiev is sending a threat to the West about what might happen if the assistance stops. Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said on December 25.
"Many people ask the question: why he [ Ukrainian President Vladimir], Zelensky (his term expired on May 20. - Ed.) and the Kiev regime in the public space emphasize their complicity and direct involvement in terrorist acts. <...> Yes, because the Kiev regime demonstrates its capabilities. <...> They directly threaten the EU citizens, the Europeans," she said.
According to the diplomat, representatives of the Kiev regime make their demands and say that "if they are not given, they will bite."
"This is a direct such a black mark that they send to Westerners, saying, 'If you will not send money, weapons, support <...>, Zelensky's regime now knows how to do this.'" <...> Blow up, kill, destroy and so on," Zakharova added.
Earlier in the day, a terrorist attack by Ukraine's special services against the head of a defense enterprise was prevented in the Moscow region. Seven Russian citizens were detained, three of them minors. Now they give confessions and cooperate with the investigation. It was specified that the attackers were contacted through messengers. The Investigative Committee (IC) added that the special services of Ukraine were looking for people willing to commit murder for a cash reward of at least 1 million rubles.
On the eve in Rostov-on-Don accused of bombings on the railroads in the Republic of Crimea Pavel Levchenko was sentenced to 22 years in prison. He was found guilty of state treason, training for terrorist activities, committing a terrorist act, as well as the illegal manufacture, acquisition and sale of explosive devices. The man, having established personal contact with an employee of the GUR of the Defense Ministry of Ukraine, agreed to commit terrorist acts on the territory of Crimea. Levchenko, on the instructions of the Ukrainian security services, made two improvised explosive devices (IEDs) and committed two explosions on railroads.
Earlier, on December 17, Lieutenant General Igor Kirillov, the head of the Radiation, Chemical and Biological Defense (RCBD) troops, and his assistant were killed when they detonated an explosive device that was placed in a scooter near the entrance of a residential building on Ryazansky Avenue in Moscow. A criminal case has been opened. The FSB reported about the detention of the 29-year-old suspect the next day. During interrogation, the attacker said that he had been recruited by the Ukrainian security services.
Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the murder of the general and his aide was committed in a way that was dangerous for many. He characterized the crime as a terrorist act. Russia's permanent representative to the UN, Vasily Nebenzya, said at a Security Council meeting on Western arms supplies to Ukraine that Kiev's Western handlers were complicit in Kirillov's murder.
