As a result of the crash of a passenger plane of Azerbaijan Airlines in Aktau, 25 people were taken to hospitals. This was reported to "Izvestia" on Wednesday, December 25, in the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic.

The airline said in a statement that there were no children among the passengers of the plane.

"There were 62 passengers on board, five crew members, a total of 67 people. According to information, there were no children among the passengers, information about the injured will be provided soon. According to the available information, there are survivors who are being provided with primary medical and sanitary care. According to the Ministry of Transport of the Republic, 16 Russian citizens were on board.
