Russian Foreign Ministry says embassy in contact with Kazakh authorities on plane crash

The Russian Embassy in Kazakhstan is in contact with the authorities of the republic on the plane crash in Aktau. This was stated by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova on December 25.

"The Russian embassy in Kazakhstan, as well as our foreign missions on the territory of this country are in contact with the local authorities on the issue of providing assistance to the victims of the airplane crash," she said.

The diplomat also added that relatives of the victims of the plane crash near Aktau can apply to the hotline of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic.

In addition, she drew attention to the fact that diplomats in Kazakhstan will follow the development of events after the crash of the airplane and promptly inform on this issue.
