- FAS initiated a case over the overhaul of houses in the Volgograd region for 4 billion rubles

The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) has initiated proceedings against the regional fund for the overhaul of apartment buildings in the Volgograd region. This was reported in the press service of the antimonopoly body on December 25.
"The service revealed in his actions signs of violation of antimonopoly legislation. The agency found that the organization included in one lot of the electronic auction capital repair works in respect of 546 apartment buildings at once," - explained in the FAS.
According to the service, the actions of the fund led to an increase in the initial price of the contract up to 4.1 billion rubles. This could limit the ability of qualified contractors to participate in the electronic auction.
Earlier, on December 17, it was reported that the FAS uncovered a cartel worth Br15 billion within the framework of the national project "Safe Quality Roads". The illegal agreement was concluded at tenders for the construction, repair and reconstruction of highways in the Krasnodar and Stavropol regions. The participants of the collusion face revolving fines.
In early November it became known that the Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia revealed a road cartel worth over 1 billion rubles. The agency initiated a case for violation of antimonopoly legislation against JSC Giprostroymost and LLC Kuzovatovskoye DRSU.
