A driver stopped due to a malfunction died after being hit by a truck on the Moscow Ring Road

The driver, who stopped on the Moscow Ring Road in Moscow due to a technical malfunction, died after being hit by a truck. About it on December 25 reports the press service of the capital Prosecutor's office.

"At the 39th km of the outer side of the Moscow Ring Road, a man driving a car "GAZ" allowed a collision with a vehicle stopped due to a technical fault, the driver of which was on the roadway", - stated in the message published in the Telegram-channel.

It was specified that the driver of the passenger car died on the spot.

The Prosecutor's Office of the South-West Administrative District of Moscow controls the establishment of all the circumstances of the accident, as well as the adoption of a procedural decision to initiate criminal proceedings under Art. 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Violation of the rules of road traffic and operation of vehicles").

Earlier, on December 24, an accident involving a car and a bus occurred in the Leningrad region. The driver of the car failed to cope with the control and drove into the oncoming lane.
