Thefire in the shopping center "Alania Mall " occurred earlierin the day. An operational headquarters was deployed at the site. Later it became known that one woman who was inside the shopping center died.

The press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations specified that the third floor and the roof of the shopping center were on fire. The Prosecutor's office of North Ossetia establishes the circumstances of the incident.

The Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia (ICRF) in RSO-Alania named the explosion of gas-air mixture as the probable cause of the fire. After the emergency services have completed their work, investigators and criminalists will start examining the scene of the incident.
