Passenger airplane crashed near Aktau city

A passenger plane of Azerbaijan Airlines, heading from Baku to Grozny, crashed near the city of Aktau. This was reported by Tengi Travel on December 25.

It is specified that earlier an emergency signal was given from the board.

According to Telegram-channel "112 KZ", at the moment 52 specialists and 11 units of equipment of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kazakhstan arrived at the scene of the aircraft crash.

"Upon arrival, the burning of the aircraft was detected. Rescue units began to extinguish the fire," - stated in the message.

At the moment in the command center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations formed an operational headquarters. Information about the victims of the plane crash is being clarified. According to preliminary data, there are survivors.
