The fire in the shopping center "Alania Mall" in Vladikavkaz, in which one person died, was probably caused by an explosion of gas-air mixture. This was reported on December 25 by the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia (ICRF) for RSO - Alania.

"Investigators and criminalists together with the head of the regional investigative Department of the IC of Russia organized a visit to the scene of the incident in the shopping center "Alania Mall" of Vladikavkaz, where, according to preliminary data, there was a clap of gas-air mixture", - stated in the Telegram-channel of the department.
